Beggining of Summer
Summer is one of the four seasons of the temperate zones. It’s the warmest of them. It follows spring and precedes autumn.
Summer is characterised by the fact that the days are longer and the nights shorter. Astronomically, the summer solstice (around December 21 the austral and June 21 the boreal) marks the beginning of this season and the autumn equinox (around March 21 the austral and September 23 the boreal) marks the end of this season and the beginning of autumn.
